Kintrans - BedrijfsprofielCompany Profile Kintrans

History
1969, Daniël Kint started a small one-man enterprise in Lochristi. At first, the activities were limited to transportation within Belgium, but steadily the business grew.

Eighteen years later, in 1987, the one-man company was reformed into the family business Kintrans bvba. The brothers Danny and Herman Kint took over the company and expanded the work area towards the entirety of Europe, specializing in the transportation of flowers and plants to Italy.

The move in 1994 was linked with the expansion of the activities (car transport) as well as the infrastructure. Because of the fast growth of the car transportation department, we moved in 2003 to our current location in Desteldonk (Ghent). Mid 2011, we decided to put an end to the transportation of flowers and plants and focus completely on car transportation.

Profile
Today, 40 truck units are constantly on the road in Belgium and abroad. They transport all kinds of vehicles (from cars to tractors).

Professional assistance, extensive administrative support and technical specialists all contribute to a good service and offer the appropriate solutions for our customers’ logistic problems.
Through all the processes within the company, we try on top of that, to have as much eye as possible for the highest quality and environmental requirements. Therefore, we are also proud of our ISO-certificates (9001:2015 and 14001:2015) in these domains.
